I’ve been the person testing gear in the rain so you don’t have to.
I started reviewing hiking gear on a personal blog in 2019 because I was tired of “top 10” listicles clearly written without ever touching the product. The Field Test grew from that frustration — a simple rule that everything gets used before it gets rated.
Today I work with brands and publishers to produce content that reads like advice from a knowledgeable friend, not a sales pitch. That’s why my reviews consistently outperform on time-on-page, trust signals, and — the metric that actually pays the bills — click-through to purchase.
